«Square Meter» is an authorized broker of four major South American agricultural and livestock holdings for the supply of frozen meat, mainly premium beef and pork, to Russia and CIS countries. It is important to mention that we cooperate directly with manufacturers in different countries in South America, first and foremost in Brazil, which is the global leader in cattle breeding, and also in Paraguay and Argentina.

In 2017, «Square Meter» was authorized by one of the largest South American meat producers, the MINERVA FOODS GROUP, to coordinate their supplies directly from their facilities in Brazil and Paraguay to Russia. Historically, Brazil has always been the leading country for meat cattle husbandry in the world. Brazil has the world’s largest industrial livestock population. Since 2018, we were involved in the delivery of hundreds of containers with frozen meat products to Russia.

As an export distributor of Almaz Group’s agricultural and chemical plant in Russia (for more details please refer to the “Fertilizers” section), we work on arranging for counter deliveries of its products, such as phosphate fertilizers and copper vitriol, which is widely used in livestock breeding, to South America, and consider this to be an area which has great potential.

At the moment, «Square Meter» is also working on several promising business lines, venturing into and establishing necessary contacts in the sector of selling Brazilian coffee beans, as everyone knows that these are some of the best in the world. Brazilian coffee accounts for 33% of the global market. This is because with its mild climate, plentiful sun and frequent rains, the country offers the perfect conditions for growing coffee. The largest coffee farming companies pay very careful attention to the quality of this nationally important product.

Besides this, we are currently in negotiations regarding the supply of live cattle from Brazil to Malaysia. In January 2019, the governments of Malaysia and Brazil signed a strategic food supply agreement, giving the green light to business in this area. Our potential strategic partner in Malaysia is the Malaysian National Feedlot Corporation.
